Booking Policy

Thank you for your interest in booking with Le Vacherin if you would take a moment to please read our Terms & Conditions carefully.

Alternatively, ring reservations on 020 8742 2121, we will be more than happy to personally discuss your reservation requirements.

Event Dinners

£20 deposit per person is required on all event dinners. If the table is not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, the full amount of the deposit will be retained. We reserve the right to amend them menu and wines. 13.5% service charge will be added, 15% on parties over 8 people. Please inform us of any food allergies. Vegan menu has to be pre- ordered at least 24 hours in advance.

Christmas

Christmas Parties

Set Christmas party menus for minimum groups of 5. We reserve the right to charge £20.00 per person as a deposit on all bookings. Confirmation of final numbers in parties must be made 7 days prior to booking, any changes in numbers after this may be charged in full. Pre- ordering of food and wine is required for all group bookings 7 days prior to the function date. Please note that all menus are subject to change.

Christmas Day

Completed booking and pre-order forms will be required and we reserve the right to charge the full amount of the meals on all bookings. if notification of the cancellation is NOT received by the 1st December 2025, the full amount of the food may be charged.

Restaurant Bookings and Cancellation Fees

For tables of 5 or more, we require credit card details, and reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £20 per person for a no-show or if the cancellation is made so late that we are unable to sell the table on the same terms. If the table is re-sold, no charge is made. We also require full food & drinks pre-order (Tables larger than five)

Young Children

Please note, the main dining room at Le Vacherin is unsuitable for young children and babies. The bar area will be available for prams babies & children at Lunch, in the Evenings 9 years old and upwards will be allowed. Contact the restaurant to enquiry first.

Table Sizes

We can organize tables up to 34 covers in the bar area and up to 64 covers in the main dining room.

Au Revoir, Le Vacherin

After 24 wonderful years, the time has come for us to say goodbye.

With mixed emotions and immense gratitude, we announce that Le Vacherin will be closing its doors for the final time.

What began in 2002 as a dream to bring authentic French hospitality and cuisine to Chiswick grew into something far greater than a restaurant. Le Vacherin became a place of celebration, friendship, romance, family gatherings, business lunches, anniversaries, birthdays, proposals, and countless cherished memories.

Over the past two decades, we have had the privilege of welcoming generations of guests through our doors. Some joined us for a special occasion, others became regulars whose faces became as familiar as those of our own team. Together, you created the warm and vibrant atmosphere that made Le Vacherin so special.

We are deeply grateful to our owner, Donna Thompson-Smith, whose passion, dedication and unwavering belief in the restaurant helped shape its identity and guide it through many chapters. We thank our chefs, past and present, whose talent and commitment brought French cuisine to life on every plate, and every member of our front-of-house and kitchen teams who worked tirelessly to create memorable experiences for our guests.

Most importantly, we thank you — our customers.

Thank you for every lunch, every dinner, every glass raised in celebration, and every kind word shared with our team.

Over the years, guests described Le Vacherin as a "neighbourhood favourite," a place with a "local feel," "wonderful atmosphere," "excellent service," and food that brought a taste of Paris to West London. Those words meant more to us than any award or accolade ever could.

Restaurants are often measured by the dishes they serve, but their true legacy lies in the people they bring together. The friendships formed, the stories shared across the table, and the memories created within their walls.

As we close this chapter, we do so with pride for what Le Vacherin has been and with gratitude for everyone who helped make it possible.

While the lights may dim and the dining room may fall silent, the memories of Le Vacherin will remain with us forever.
